Claudia is a skilled tactician, focusing on opportunities to drive data-inspired, company-wide change. Over the last 20 years, she has held numerous roles in the newsroom before migrating to audience development and landing firmly at the intersection of news, audience, product and revenue strategies. A true numbers nerd, she believes firmly in using data and math to save journalism. Claudia is currently the subscription acquisition director at NOLA.com and The Baton Rouge Advocate. She coaches in reader revenue programs and works with the National Trust for Local News. She has her bachelor’s in photojournalism from the University of Missouri and her master’s in business analytics from the University of Utah.
